Our Motto
The School's motto "Towards Independence" reflects the aim of providing all students with learning outcomes that are relevant to present and future community living. The central aim of Les Powell School is to provide students with high quality educational programs that support the individual needs of students with severe intellectual and multiple disabilities.

Staff
In addition to the principal, Les Powell has three assistant principals (infants, primary and secondary) and seven class teachers. The staffing allocation includes relief from face to face, library, computer/technology support and a hydrotherapy instructor. A school counsellor works across the school one day a week.
